Finish Dishwasher Detergent

Since I began couponing a few months back, I have mostly been able to find great deals on everything I typically buy at least once (making me more and more convinced that I won't be needing to shop Sam's Club much anymore... yay!).

However, one of the exceptions has been dishwasher soap. I just haven't seen that go on sale yet. So, when I saw these coupons posted on UtahDealDiva.com, I thought I better grab them quick in case Finish goes on sale soon. Just wanted to share with you all too, so no one misses out.

I am totally not sure if I did all of this right or if this link will work! But, first time's the charm, right? Hopefully, the link below will take you to the spreadsheet I created for this week's deals at Kent's and Ridley's. Thanks to Memorial Day Weekend sales, it seems like a pretty good week. Let me know if you prefer the spreadsheet format or if you like the information posted directly on the blog instead. I thought, with the spreadsheet, maybe you could hide the rows you don't care about and print your own shopping list (similar to GrocerySmarts). If the spreadsheet won't allow you to edit it, you can try to copy and paste all the information into your own spreadsheet and then manipulate it from there.

Let me know what you try and what works for you! Also, if you are able to edit the spreadsheet for everyone to see, let me know that too, because you shouldn't be!!! I don't want people trying to make their own shopping list and changing the main list for everyone.

Frozen for Free... I Got My Rebate

Did you see my Facebook post about getting a copy of Frozen for free back on March 20th? Well, my rebate finally came through from TopCashBack.com. I know some of you were a little concerned that maybe it was a scam, but I can now say that everything worked out perfectly for me and I just applied my rebate to my Amazon.com account (if you chose your payout in the form of Amazon Gift Cards, then you got an additional 5% bonus). Ridley's Update

So, I went to Ridley's last night and I just wanted to share what I found out.

First of all, Langer's juice IS on sale, but it is not the apple juice like I assumed from the ad. I didn't even know Langer's MADE other kinds of juice. But, the sale is for the Mongo Mango, Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade, and the Strawberry Lemonade (w/o watermelon).

I did pick up my Little Debbie snack cakes for $0.25, which makes me inexplicably happy!

I also discovered that if you are going to be buying just ONE gallon of milk that you will want to price-match to Kent's $2.88 price. But if you are buying TWO gallons of milk, it is better to pay Ridley's price because they give you a special discount, making it $2.83 each. Don't forget to unlock the milk rebate on Ibotta, link your Ridley's shoppers card to Ibotta, buy your milk and swipe your card at checkout!

Lastly, Checkout51 updated their rebates and the Yoplait Greek yogurt rebate is gone. Hope you got your yogurt before it changed!

I Got My Freebies! Did you?

Scott and I got invited to a concert last night in Brigham City. It was part of the Music in the City concert series and we got to hear the fabulous Austin Weyand Band play. The concert was held right across the street from Smith's, so I just had to pop in and get my Friday Freebie deals. As we approached Smith's from the North at night, you can see the glowing spires of the Brigham City temple right over the top of Smith's. I told Scott, "It's the Lord's grocery store and it makes God happy to have me to in and get my freebies!"

Smith's Shoppers Card with Ecoupons

I am so excited that Smith's allows you to do e-coupons, for two reasons. First, almost every week there is a free Friday deal that you can load to your Smith's card. Once the e-coupon is loaded to your card, you have two weeks to redeem the item. Just load the coupon, take the item to checkout and scan your card. The full price of the item will be INSTANTLY deducted from the bill.

The second reason I love Smith's e-coupons is that you load all the coupons available from their website directly to your shoppers card and then go shopping. No clipping, no storing, no forgetting your paper coupons at home. Just remember to take your shoppers card to the store and scan it at checkout and you are in business!

How do you do all of this? Just visit the Smith's website and click on their digital coupons section. Register your shoppers card to make it available for e-coupons (you have to have a free Smith's account for this) and start adding your coupons! I remember the process being simple and pain-free.

You can also download the free Smith's app to your smartphone and add e-coupons to your card while you are walking around the store shopping! They will be ready and waiting for you on your card when you checkout.

One note of caution: I have run into the problem of having my e-coupons and my paper coupons conflict at checkout. For example, say I have the e-coupon for $1 off chips loaded on my card. It is only good for one bag, but I also have a paper coupon for $1 off chips too. I want to buy two bags, so I am going to use both my e-coupon and my paper coupon. At checkout, the computer might get confused and think you are trying to use TWO coupons on ONE bag of chips (even though you bought two bags) and reject the paper coupon. Just explain to the cashier what is happening and what you are trying to do and I have always had them fix the problem and accept both coupons. For this reason, if I am doing e-coupons and paper coupons on the same item, I find it easiest not to do the self-checkout lines. Of course, the cashier that scans your coupons at the self-checkout is always very nice and helpful too.
