Deal Brag

I would love to know about the great deals you guys are finding around town, so I thought I would share my GREAT shopping trip to Smith's yesterday. Bottom line, the total bill at regular price would have been $101.92 for everything in the picture below, plus two bottles of Gain laundry detergent that some how managed not to get pictured...:

What did I pay, you ask?

$33.71!

That is a savings of $68.21 or 69%.

It breaks down to $37.21 in "Fresh Value Saving" (or, in other words, the savings I got from shopping the sales and using my Fresh Values card) AND $31 in manufacturer's coupons. Yes, that's right, $31 in coupons! (When I was getting my list ready, I told Scott, "It's like printing my own money." (Toy Story 2 reference)).

Everything in the picture was on sale, but here are the highlights.

Highlights:
Almay Eye Shadow, regular price $4.19, used a four $4 off coupons and got four of them for $0.19 each.

Secret Deodorant, regular price $2.59, on sale for $2.29, get an extra $1 off during the Mega Event savings promo, throw in a $1 off coupon and I got four of them for $0.29 each.
