Deal Brag

I was SUPER excited today when I saw on Facebook that Ridley's was doing a special, one day only, double coupon day today. So, I got my coupons together and ran over to score some killer deals on cereal. Here is the breakdown:

I got six boxes of Cheerios, two boxes of Lucky Charms and one gallon of milk for $9.20!!! If I had been mentally quicker at the register, I actually could have gotten the entire thing for $8.20, but more on that in just a second.

Cheerios, I got 4 boxes for $0.67 each, and two boxes for $1.67 with double coupons(here is where I could have saved one more dollar if I had been thinking and grabbed one extra coupon I forgot about). Just FYI, I also could have gotten a couple other varieties of General Mills cereals for this particular sale, but I specifically got all Cheerios.
Lucky Charms, I got two boxes for $1.38 each with double coupons.
Milk, I got for FREE!!! (buy 6 participating cereals and get a milk free)

I saved $6 in coupons and an additional $14.56 in promotions and sales. That means if I had paid full price for EVERYTHING, it would have cost me approximately $29.76 ($8.20+$6+$14.56). I believe that means I saved 69% total! (It would have been 72% if I had remembered my other coupon...) :)
